P100/p150 PCIe Root Complex

I have a two-part question regarding the new Blackhole-based p100/p150 cards.

  1. Does the Blackhole processor physically implement a PCIe Root Complex mode? In other words, is it technically possible to switch the PCIe 5.0 x16 interface mode from PCIe Endpoint to PCIe Root Complex?

  2. The Linux demo running on Blackhole (GitHub) is very exciting. If PCIe Root Complex is possible, what resources exist for exploring this mode? Given a suitable Linux image running on the Blackhole X280 cores, this would allow Linux to enumerate an external PCIe peripheral (Endpoint device) attached to the Blackhole’s PCIe interface.

Thank you!
