Announcing the Tenstorrent Bounty Program!

We’re thrilled to launch the Tenstorrent Bounty Program—a new way for our open-source community to make meaningful contributions to our Open-source repositories. Whether you’re tackling a simple bug fix, implementing a new feature, or optimizing core performance, there’s a bounty tier for you!

How It Works?

  1. Find an Issue

Head over to our GitHub repos and look for open Issues tagged with “bounty” and a difficulty label (e.g., difficulty/warmup, difficulty/easy, etc.).

  1. Get Assigned

Comment on the Issue to request assignment. We’ll confirm and assign you if it’s still available.

  1. Submit Your PR

Work on your contribution, submit your pull request, and ensure it meets all guidelines. Once merged, it’s considered an “Accepted Contribution.”

  1. Get Rewarded

Bounties range from $1 – $3,000, depending on the task difficulty. We’ll reach out with payment instructions upon successful completion of a bounty! Reward Categories

  • Warmup ($1 – $200) : Minor bug fixes, simple doc updates, small tests. Perfect for first-time contributors.
  • Easy ($201 – $500) : Some architectural understanding needed, moderate refactoring, adding new test suites.
  • Medium ($501 – $1,999) : Building new features, supporting new models, debugging more complex issues.
  • Hard ($2,000 – $3,000) : Major architectural changes, core redesigns, low-level performance optimizations.

Key Points to Remember

  • You must be legally eligible to participate (see Terms for full details).
  • Contributions must follow the license of the repository.
  • If you become unresponsive for over two weeks, we may re-assign the issue.
  • We can modify or terminate this program at any time, so be sure to stay updated!
